VetActiv8 have introduced a more flexible approach with two dosing options—a loading dose and a maintenance dose—to better suit your dog’s individual needs.

The updated dosing guidelines are not currently printed on the tub.

• The loading dose is recommended for the first 4 weeks in dogs experiencing acute or chronic inflammation, stiffness, or discomfort, as it can help provide faster relief and support a noticeable improvement in comfort and mobility.
• After this initial period, your dog can transition to the maintenance dose for long term joint and mobility support.

If your dog has more advanced joint issues, you can continue the loading dose for a longer period. If you're using Joint Health Plus for prevention, the maintenance dose can be used from the start and continued long term.

Small (< 10 kg) 

• Loading Dose: 2x capsules
• Maintenance Dose: 1x capsule

Medium (10 - 20 kg)

• Loading Dose: 4x capsules
• Maintenance Dose: 2x capsules

Large (>20 kg)

• Loading Dose: 6x capsules
• Maintenance Dose: 3x capsules

For pets that have difficulty taking capsules, open and mix the contents with food or treats.
